Expando® HR TW is a braided Halar* (E-CTFE) fluoropolymer sleeving designed for applications up to 150ºC (302ºF). Inherently flame-retardant, it meets UL 1441 (VW-1) flammability requirements. Expando® HR TW is a high coverage special purpose sleeving for aerospace oriented applications. It offers good mechanical properties, and performs well in both high and low temperature environments. Expando® HR TW differs from Expando HR only in construction. Expando® HR TW has higher coverage and less expansion than the standard product.
Expando® HR TW protective oversleeve has many uses in the aerospace, marine, electronic, military, nuclear and general manufacturing industries.
Expando® products are tough, lightweight oversleeves used to protect cable assemblies, hoses and wire harnesses from chafing, cutting and abrading. The open-braid construction of Expando products enables each size to expand to fit several application shapes and diameters. This open-textile construction also makes them highly flexible and resistant to trapping water, heat, and humidity.
