ShrinkGard™ is a highly flexible, woven sleeve constructed of polyester and polyethylene that provides superior abrasion resistance for rubber hoses and tubing applications. The product offers a shrinkage up to 60% which allows
ShrinkGard to accommodate a variety of diameters and sizes. The soft construction of ShrinkGard is ideal when handling the product during installation.
The heat-shrinkable design firmly grips to the component with a minimum shrink temperature of +80ºC (+176°F) and a minimum full recovery temperature of +110ºC (+230°F).
A treatment made on ShrinkGard keeps the ends of the sleeve stable after shrinkage.
ShrinkGard can easily be cut with standard industrial cutting equipment and is used primarily in the automotive industry to protect rubber hoses.
